West Ham hope to finalize a deal for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma in time for their next match against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Zouma has been a prime target for manager David Moyes. As he looks to strengthen his defense this summer. West Ham have been linked with Fiorentina’s Nicola Milenkovic and Marseille’s Duo Chaleta-sar.

The Daily Mail reports that the Hammers are working on a £26m deal for the 26-year-old defender ahead of Saturday’s clash with Crystal Palace.

An unconfirmed detail is that Zouma’s wages are £125,000-a-week. Its a pretty high figure for West Ham. 

The 26-year-old has been with Chelsea since January 2014, joining from Saint-Etienne.
